Faculty

The American Studies Program borrows its faculty from departments throughout the University. These faculty members are noteworthy for their intellectual breadth and their dedication to undergraduate education. Since its founding, the Program has drawn on the talents of dozens of different instructors from ten different humanities and social science departments in the College, as well as from the University's schools of Communication, Journalism, Law, Music, Education and Social Policy, and Engineering. Program faculty are regularly appear on the student-elected Honor Roll of best teachers on campus, and several have won prestigious College and University teaching awards.
